Ok, we're now into our 8th week on the course. It's a reading week, so time to catch up on everything & try to tick a few things off the to-do list. The weather's been a bit more study-friendly this weekend so that helps. First off, just in case anyone's reading this that isn't on the course (unlikely I know, but hey...), I suppose I'd better give a quick overview of what the course involves.
There's 3 modules in the first semester:
- Introduction to Computing & Web Technologies
- Client Side Web Technologies
- Server Side Web Technologies
- learning about computer components (hardware & software), architecture, networks & how they combine to create the interweb.
- building the part of the web site that people (clients) see when they browse
- building the back-end of the web site that stores the info, responds to clients actions on the browser, etc.
Excellent French there, John. And the accent isn't bad either. Keep up the good work..... I mean in the class.
